This knife was hand forged from 5160 carbon steel and hand filed into shape leaving some of the forge and file marks in the blade for a traditional look.
The handle is made from cows horn that has been secured to the tang with four copper pins. The tang of this knife tapers or thins at its base just as some of the original examples do.
This knife has a blade that measures 9 3/4” long with a handle that measures 5 1/8” long and an overall measurement of 14 5/8”
This knife comes with a hand stitched sheath made from 8 oz. Waxed leather and made to fit the blade well.
