This knife was hand forged in the style of the renowned modern craftsman Hershel House who lives in the small town of Woodbury Kentucky, this is why his work is generally referred to as the “Woodbury Style”. This is my own personal interpretation of his work based on the style and form of some of the knives Hershel has made in the past.

This blade of this knife was hand forged from 5160 carbon steel recycled from the shock springs off an old truck then hand filed into shape.

The handle of this knife is made from polished elk horn with a hand filed iron bolster and pommel cap.

The sheath is made from 8 oz. Waxed leather and made to fit the blade well.

This knife measures 15 1/4" overall with a blade that measures 10 1/4" and a handle that measures 5 1/2".

The knife came in today. It is exactly as shown. I ask a question and it was answered promptly. I am very happy with this purchase.
