This knife features a razor sharp traditional upswept carbon steel blade hand forged from 5160 carbon steel recycled from the shock springs off a large truck and hand forged and filed into shape leaving some forge and file marks in the blade to give it the appearance of a knife made in the mountain man or fur trade era.
The handle of this knife is made from a section of white tail deer antler that fits the hand very nicely. The handle is topped with a hand poured pewter bolster embellished with decorative file work. The tang of this knife is epoxied in place and further secured with a brass pin.
The sheath for this knife is made from genuine leather and made to fit the blade well.
This knife measures approximately 9 7/8" overall with a 5 3/8" blade and a 4 3/4"handle.
