This knife features a blade that has been hand forged from 5160 carbon steel recycled from the shock springs off of an old truck and hand filed into shape leaving some of the forge and file marks in the steel, exactly as some of the originals have.

The handle of this knife is made from maple wood stained with Aqua Fortis and sealed with multiple coats of linseed oil and beeswax, the handle is secured to the blade with brass rivets, the handle also has a traditional checkering and dot pattern.

The tang of this knife also tapers to its base this was done on original knives of this era to save metal and to make the knife a little lighter.

This knife also comes with a hand sewn waxed leather sheath that has been made to fit the blade well.

The blade of this knife measures 6" the handle measures 4 3/8" and has an overall measurement of 10 3/8"
