These candle stick's and snuffer were hand forged from iron using traditional techniques and
coated with natural beeswax to help protect against rust and to give a wonderful surface finish.
The bell shaped item is referred to as a snuffer, this is used to extinguish a lit candle without
halving to blow on the flame. Simply place the open bell and of the device over the lit candle and
it will extinguish the candle as seen in the listing pictures.
These would make a perfect centerpiece for the dining table, kitchen, or bed stand of an 18th
century home.
The candle stick's measure approximately 2 3/4" wide by 1 3/4" tall and the snuffer measures
approximately 1 1/4" wide at the bell end and is approximately 4 ½" long.
