This knife was hand forged from 5160 carbon steel recycled from the shock springs off a large truck and hand forged and filed into shape leaving some forge and file marks in the blade and then hardened and tempered for good edge holding.
The handle of this knife is made from polished moos bone that has been pinned to the tang with small iron pins.
This knife comes with a traditional style of neck sheath that was used in 18th century colonial America by native and settler alike. The tie’s used to wear the neck sheath around the neck can easily be adjusted to a comfortable position around the final owners neck with either a bow for easy adjustment or a simple overhand knot for a more permanent adjustment once you find a position that is comfortable for you.
This knife measures approximately 7 1/4" overall with a 3 1/4" long blade and a 4" handle.
