The blade of this knife was hand forged from 5160 carbon steel recycled from the shock springs off an old truck. Than hand filed into shape leaving some forge and file marks in the steel.

The handle of this knife is made from locally harvested walnut wood that has been decorated with a traditional pattern of stamped dots. The wood was then sealed with multiple coats of linseed oil and beeswax and secured to the tang with three iron pins.

The tang of this knife also tapers to its base this was done on original knives of this era to save metal and to make the knife a little lighter.

This knife also comes with a hand sewn sheath made from 8 oz. Waxed leather and made to fit the blade well.

The blade of this knife measures 5 1/4" the handle measures 4 3/8" and has an overall measurement of 9 5/8"
